  1. Hi Trung,

All this information looks good with the exception of some of the square footage numbers. The movie theater would need an equipment / projection room unless its a flex space room and you are only using a portable projector. This room would also need to be sound isolated. The gym and the laundry room also seem a bit small unless there are other locations on this campus.

My major concern is that all I have seen is research and no design. I think research is great, but I hope that design is going on in correlation with the research. If they are separate the entire studio is loosing precious design time. Also, this research is all pretty basic information found in books. There is no concept or abstract research being shown. None of this information is what you would want to show an employer in a portfolio. I have been in a similar research studio based on theater design, and we had vignette designs with abstract research, chair design, technology research and then theater design in groups. My concern is if you have not designed anything yet, the only way to have a respectable presentation is to do a final design as a group. Is that the goal here? Just to give you an idea I have placed my older portfolio link below, please look at the Auditoria Redux / collabortium project towards the end for what I am talking about. Lastly, we had to combine all our research and prepare a book with every students works, its a nice way to quantify all the research and designs into one book so that all this information was correlated, otherwise it will all be lost after the semester, which would be a huge waste for the students and the professor.

    1. Hi Mr. Jlbmil.
Thanks for your comment, information. I did not start to design yet, they are all just research. (And this is not a group design project). I will take your advice and take a look of your portfolio before I start my design.
